Backward View

I was taking pictures with my phone and I can switch the camera view from the front to the back.  I couldn’t easily turn around while on the horse to get pictures of Lucy and Mike, so I tried to hold it up and take pictures facing back.  I didn’t do a bad job—I also didn’t do a great job  :)

Many of the pictures had part of my face in them.  This cracked Lucy up!!

The pictures that are centered are only centered thanks to cropping.  Most of the pictures, Lucy and Mike were so far to the right that even cropped this was the best I could do.  It gives them character though!

It was perfect day for a trail ride!!  Lucy hasn’t been on a horse in a long time and was in heaven!!

Too bad this is so blurry—what a face!!  When I did put my phone back in my pocket, Lucy was good to tell me when it was coming out a bit so I wouldn’t lose it.

One of my goals with losing weight was to be able to go on family horse rides since Lucy (and now Clara) are so in love with horses!  It’s not something we will do all the time, but it sure was fun, and a great blessing to be able to do this as a family!
