Ooopps

Several days ago, the girls and I were in the school room doing school when we noticed a fountain outside!!  I had the pool running, and apparently it sprung a leak (there was a hole in the tube)!  It was very pretty—but WRONG!!  LOL!  It was hilarious to watch the girls run out to turn off the pump as they had to get soaked in order to do so  LOL!  At least this was a very easy, free fix!

This (below) on the other hand is NOT free!!!

On our way to church last night there was great vibration!  It was easy to see what the problem was---now that is FLAT (and a fairly new tire too)!

Upon further inspection we found this GAPING HOLE!!!  Yeah, that isn’t fixable at that point!  It puzzled us about what could have caused such a thing….

There ya go---it is landscape surround that we (and when I say we, it was not me  LOL) backed over.

The picture doesn’t do it justice—the metal split and there is a massive tire gauging point there!  I’m sure there is a way to add a big arrow to point to it, but I am not seeing how…shucks.

Anyway—the girls and I are going to an Origami Owl party this evening (Lucy and I are designers in waiting, and once we are full fledged designers we will be hosting parties and selling this awesome jewelry too—so tonight we go to learn!)  While we are away, Mike will be ripping that bit of landscaping metal OUT!!  So, at least this will never happen again.

On another note, we were outside looking at this when Mike was home for lunch and there was a large wasp type bug that was dragging/carrying a huge, dead wolf spider!!  Do they eat them??  I had no idea!  Interesting!
