Crappy Day

Cracks me up—we had heard about this Mexican restaurant that was really good that had a big cow out front.  Sure enough, you can’t miss the cow!!  The girls said they wanted their pictures taken with the cow, and I assumed the side of it to see it’s head and the sign—no, they both made a mad dash to get their picture taken with the BUTT—yep, that’s my girls  LOL!!

Well, while we were inside enjoying our Mexican meal—our car was in the parking lot dying!  We were stranded (and did I mention this isn’t the greatest place in town to be).  We had a friend come get us.  This was currently our only car though since my van was at home with a huge hole in the tire.  We didn’t want to replace the tire until pay day.  Now we were left car less—but at least the tire we knew the problem and it was an easy (yet pricey) fix.

We spent the rest of the day dealing with car stuff.  Got a tire on the van and then Mike got Jack working enough to get it home and work on it.  We believe it is now fixed (we are hoping, but we thought he had this fixed before too and apparently not).  So, hoping and praying for no more car issues, but very thankful they were “minor” and not huge costs!!  It certainly could have been worse!!
