Super One

We had a field trip the other day to Super One.  It’s a local supermarket and it turned out to be a really awesome field trip!  They showed us all the ins and outs of the grocery store.

When going in around the food everyone had to put on hair nets.  When they were passing them out Clara yelled out (LOUDLY)—”Oh my, I get my VERY OWN hair net!!  Awesome!!”  Love it!  People were cracking up at her enthusiasm!

Clara absolutely loved this trip!

It was quite cold in many of the areas!

After the tour each child got a goodie bag that had an apple, banana, granola bar, and the balloon.  It didn’t take Clara long before she put her hair net on the balloon  :)

As many of us did, we came with a list to do our shopping after the field trip.  We were going through the store filling up the cart when I realized that I did not have my wallet in my purse.  Mike had taken it out that morning to pay the plumber and we never put it back in.  So we pre blessed the food  (LOL) and put it all back.  It was comical!  Once in the car too I realized I had little to no gas!  No money to get any, so we turned the AC off and sweated all the way home (and made it!!).  What made it all the more comical is that my drivers side window does not roll down.

I was making up the scenario of what would happen if a cop pulled me over—oh the story he was going to get!!  I said, if ever in my life I was certain I’d get out of a ticket that was the time.  We did not get pulled over, and just made it home.  Mike had to use the gas can to get some gas in my car to get to a gas station—but it was all good  :)
