Co Op

We have been back at co-op for a few weeks now (we did miss one when we had pink eye though).  I need to start taking some picture while there…

Lucy has a cooking class for the first two class periods.  I get to help out in there and we are loving it!  We always make a meal that we eat for lunch, and something sweet for desert.  Above is the strawberry dressed in a tux.  Lucy did a great job on these—and they were YUMMY!!!

This isn’t at co-op but since it had to do with cooking I thought it worked here…  I asked Lucy to prep some things for dinner and she was to cut an onion.  I was not in the kitchen and when I walked in this is what I found—LOL!  The goggles kept her eyes free from the onion fumes—so smart, but silly looking!!  LOL!

We have also been buying free range chicken eggs from a family at co-op and they are SO GOOD!!!  I have several friends with chickens and have been studying up as we plan on getting some chickens too once we get moved and settled a bit (and build a coop).  We are so excited about it!!  I have heard (and now fully agree) that once you go with fresh eggs, there is no going back!  What a huge difference!
