An Animals Life….

We do love our animals  :)

A few weeks ago Clara left a blanket on the floor and I didn’t pick it up—when I got up in the morning Bella was happy laying on it—so happy in fact that she didn’t move from it for a long while.

I thought, gee, she must want a bed.  I had never thought of that before—but apparently she loves a bed.

We went to the fabric store and got some nice fleece.  We had some foam here to use which works perfectly.  While we were making the bed, Fluffy was thinking it was all about him of course.  He had to be under the foam, on the fabric!  Then he was on the whole thing purring loudly as if to thank us for HIS bed :)

It’s two sided…

Bella likes to be under a table, so we thought under the desk (a favorite of her spots) was a good place to put it and keep it out of our way as well.  Clara had to test it out and it met her approval.

It didn’t take long before Fluffy laid claim to it.  I did however, come out in the middle of the night and Bella was all curled up on it.  She seemed happy with it and we were thrilled!  That was a few weeks ago—now the only way to get her on it is to put a piece of our clothing on it and she will curl up with that on the bed, but will not get on the bed alone.  Weird!  The cats don’t even get on it.  The bed is now in our bedroom and we put it out at night with clothing on it and pick it up in the morning…

Felix has no need for a “bed” as anything on the ground he will lay claim to.  This bag has rollerskates in it—that just can’t be comfortable—and yet, he stayed there for a long while.

The girls use the dog bed to sit on to watch tv—so at least it serves a purpose.  I did find Bella one morning with her head on it—goofy dog!

My view while folding laundry!  I had to move him off the warm clothes, but he didn’t mind much—that is spoiled—as he should be :)

Who needs a dog bed?  This is much more comfortable!  Bella doesn’t sleep with us at night often—only if there is a thunder storm or fireworks.  She is a total bed hog too!!

There have been lots of fireworks lately with Christmas and new years, so this has been my view in bed…do you think she knows she is a dog?
