Not Your Normal Every Day Sentence

“Ok, now go eat your eyeball!”

LOL!!  After we did the diagram of the eye, we made edible eyeballs.  We thought it was best to do this BEFORE the dissection as it may  be more disgusting afterwards.

It was a good lesson, as we got to take the 2D diagram we just labeled and discuss it in a 3D perspective.  Again, discussing each part and the role it plays.

Eye see you—although it’s a bit blurry  :)  These pictures came out awful!!  I spent so much time laughing that apparently I didn’t focus very well.

Lucy was trying to look as though she popped her eye out and put it on a stick—I would say she achieved this!

A close up of the finished product.  It was so much fun!  Now when we discuss the eye we can say “remember—the Jr. Mint, or the fruit roll up…”  A lesson I truly do believe we will all remember  :)
