Pet Shop Taxonomy

We have been talking about taxonomy in Botany and as a fun thing to do to help the kids remember and have a chance to act like a taxonomist we did Pet Shop Taxonomy.  The example in the book was to use shoes, but these girls are all about Pet Shops—so this was more fun  :)

We did this on the big bed, and of course our homeschool bully was right there with us (only napping and actually leaving us alone!).  The girls got to notice details on their pet shops they were surprised to have not noticed before.
