While we were at Great Wolf Lodge we got to experience some of the other fun things in Grapevine TX.
Sea Life was really cool. We love aquariums! I know the pictures aren’t the greatest—I have not mastered taking pics with my phone yet, but it is just so darn convenient! Now that I have a new phone that plays nice with itunes it is easy to upload too (my old phone and i tunes were not friends—don’t know why, but every time I hooked up it would erase apps and downloads and make everything funky—I don’t miss that at all!).
Clara is carefully checking out the map to see what we have yet to see. She wanted to be sure we didn’t’ miss a thing!
We had a game card and throughout the museum there were questions and you marked the answer on the card. It was a good way to keep the kids involved and engaged and all the kids really enjoyed that aspect of it. When you turned in your completed card you got a medal. Later on in the day Clara gave her hard earned medal to our friend P and I was so filled with pride!!
I know we have great kids—they never cease to amaze me, but one thing this trip really did was solidify that fact to me! So many things happened while we were gone to show me just how special and wonderful they truly are! They appreciate everything so much, don’t complain, are kind and sensitive, obedient, joyful, full of life, show leadership, appreciate uniqueness, and have a deep love for each other that is so very special! I can go on and on :)
We also went to Legoland. They had some really good 4D movies we got to watch (experience). The highlight for Lucy was the discovery of sticker nail polish LOL! She is such a girl!! She is sporting the free samples that were put on her nails above! I did get her some for her birthday and she is chomping at the bit to get into them, but I am making her wait. Besides, the free sample is still on and doing great :) She painted the rest of her nails pink and they look really cool! She inherited great nails from my side of the family. I will always think of long beautiful nails when I think of my Grandmother and mom!
In Legoland they had the town of Grapevine/Dallas replicated and it was AMAZING!! We could have spend several more hours there and still not noticed all the details!
These are made entirely of legos and I wanted Lucy in the shot to show the scale!
OH year, fun fun!!
We ate at Rainforest Café. Lucy was not going to give me a pretty face LOL!
The volcano!! It had a sparkler on top too and was cool to watch all lit up (those pictures didn’t come out very well). This was SO yummy!
Playing with gators. The Grapevine Mall was incredible!
Driving home—how sweet is that?!! Love!! <3
