Mission Arlington has many different places they put up their missionaries at. We did not know beforehand where we would be, but were told to bring everything we would need. Between all of the different families we had it covered!!
We ended up staying in an apartment complex that is owned by the mission. It was very nice. Sparsely furnished, but certainly served the purpose!! There was a huge yard next door too which was great for all the kids!
We ate great! Those little kitchens got one heck of a work out!! I made a huge lasagna for everyone and another family made shrimp alfredo, we had salad, and the kids got to make their own pizzas. We did the pizzas in shifts which worked out well.
One mom is an art teacher and had brought stuff for an art project! What fun!!
All the kids (even my non crafty Clara) got into the art project!
Someone even brought puzzles and we had an apartment 3 and 4 race to finish this puzzle of hot air balloons (each apartment had the same puzzle). The kids really got into this---either by working on the puzzle (which Lucy loves!) or going back and forth to talk smack and give updates! Our apartment lost miserably :)
There was nice outside space for the kids to enjoy. The landlord has a couple of cute little dogs and a cat that we got to love on too.
There is our apartments on the end (we had two apartments). We were the only ones here except for the landlord (who lives across this courtyard).
