WFR Family Field Day

The following post is the beginning of the Family Field Day pics.  This is Clara after the wheel barrel race (and when you see the pictures it will make sense  LOL).

Mike and the soft ball toss.  He did very well--not first place well, as one man actually threw it into a different zip code I think  LOL

The golf cart was the perfect way to explore the whole 40 acres!  Clara is running to me to ask if they can ride it.  This was the end of competing for Clara--she only wanted to be on the golf cart!

Balloon toss.  Lucy and I did a good job--at least we weren't last  :)

Splash!  Oh how good that must have felt though!

Oh yeah!!

After the events and awards we had a cook out, then moved to the pond area and sang songs, told stories, and had a wonderful time!!  Great memories made!

The next day we were a bit sore (well, the kids were fine, it was just us old people that felt it :)  We came in last in most events, but that didn't matter!  We just told everyone that our goal for the day was to strategically come in last (we made it look easy, but clearly it wasn't LOL), to make all the other families feel good about themselves.

The next day we were running a little late to house church and when Lucy noticed the time she said "are we going to be last for that too?!"  LOL!!  We actually weren't the last ones there!
