Vicksburg, MS

On our way home from LA this last time I thought we would stop off in Vicksburg since we drive right by there and see the flood. Wow!!


Watching people frantically trying to create levees and save their businesses and homes!

Talking to a local couple we found out that this casino usually sits so low in the water that all you can see from this vantage point is the two smoke stacks on top!

We are standing on the road, and should be able to continue walking (or driving) down this road---but as you can see, that is not possible.
