Free and Fresh

If you have read the previous blog post, then you know this almost happened before. Today, the specimen was too good to pass up :)

Fluffy brought us his "gift" today. He actually wasn't finished with it yet, but we finished him up. The head was the only part missing so all the organs were intact.

The girls were very excited to check him out (and yes, it was a him), but I soon found that I didn't know enough of the organs, so I printed a sheet out online that was a great diagram :)

I love the look on Lucy's face all the way through this----perpetual disgust. I didn't make her do this, she was very eager and excited too, but she does find the process quite disgusting---unlike Clara that not only wants to identify the organs, but also wants to dissect the organs---you just can't cut them apart enough for her :)
