Beautifully Done!

Dollywood was beautifully decorated for Christmas!! We have been to Disney several years ago right after Christmas and got to experience the magic of their decorations for the season, but I have to admit I was just as impressed with Dollywood!! It was so beautiful by day, and then even more so at night with all their lights!!

The girls love horses---so this highly decorated one caught their eye right away :)

We did the 4D Polar Express experience, which we all loved. I was sitting with Clara and she would get frustrated because with all the moving and bouncing us the seats did it kept knocking her 3D glasses off :) Otherwise, she loved it! She made one woman's day when the doors opened and we stepped out Clara loudly proclaimed to everyone around that "This is the best day of my life!" She says that all the time, but she means it each time she says it, and at that moment she could think of nothing better :)

All the different areas looked like Christmas villages---it was just beautiful!! We really enjoyed the decorations of reindeer, elves and Santa around that they had.

This was so impressive. You could see if from a distance and it is stunning--even more so the closer you get!! We used to have one of these (a small table top one :) and I always loved that (it broke a few years ago), but this was awesome!!

The setting was breathtaking---mountains all around and then this beautiful decorating with great back drops---very impressive! If you have never been to Dollywood, we highly recommend it!!
We only got to see one show while we were there (and we didn't get to half of the park---we were there for 8 hours too)---but we did see Babes In Toyland and it was great!! The girls were mesmerized by it and I really am glad we got to see that!
