The Apple Farm had much more to do besides just picking apples. They had a pumpkin patch. We had bought some pumpkins at WalMart the day before so Clara kept thinking it was ok to pick up the pumpkins here. She always has to go for the pumpkins that are nearly the same size as she is too :)

They had a cool playground with some really interesting, and different, things to play on. Very inventive!! The girls (and all the kids it seemed) really enjoyed this!! It was a nice time for the adults to sit at the picnic tables and chat too :)
I love this picture of Clara. She was hard to get still enough for a picture :)
Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy!
We also went through a corn maze which was cool. I have been wanting to do one of those for a long time so that was a real treat. Now we need to find a really big one to go through :) What an ingenious use of space and a great way i would imagine for the farmers to make extra money. On the path there were fun apple facts, which really worked well for us since we have been studying apples this month and have learned many of these facts :) Lucy did a great job recalling them too!
