Le Grande Cirque

Outside the aquarium. It was much warmer when we left there (still cold, but not as bad :)
We are outside the Palace Theatre here.
I get the stupid award! I had purchased tickets to see Le Grande Cirque and KNEW it was for Sat. night. I did not want to do a late night on Friday knowing we had to get up early for the presentation with Blue Green. It wasn't until 6:30 Sat. evening that I took the ticket out and noticed that I had in fact purchased it for FRIDAY night---so we missed the show!!! My heart sank!! We were all so looking forward to seeing the show, it has gotten rave reviews from everyone who has seen it and we were excited. Not to mention the money we would be out. I ran in and went to the ticket booth and told them I get the stupid award and told them how I forgot. The women laughed at me (nicely---more with me not at me :) and said this happens all the time. There was no problem getting them switched to that night and we even seats just as good---praise God for His favor!! :) I told them I wish I had a great story to tell them about why we missed it, but I didn't. They were shocked and said it was so refreshing to have someone come in and just be honest. They hear some wild stories and know most of them are lies they told me.

Before the show Lucy was enjoying the gift shop (of course).

We had been out all day and Clara was already tired before the show (as you can see). We also had eaten a late lunch so we didn't do dinner and Clara was all about the popcorn! I looked over several times during the show and saw her with her face buried in the bucket!

We all really REALLY enjoyed the show!! The girls were memorized. We asked Clara about different parts of the show the next day to see how much she got since she was so tired and we were surprised how much she got! Lucy was absolutely glued to the performance. I have to admit I was too, but the few times I pealed my eyes away to check on them, they were very much enjoying it!!
