Happy Birthday Dear Lucy!!

Lucy has had a wonderful birthday WEEK!!! Today is her actual birthday, but the celebration began on Friday when her Nonni and Pop came to visit. We don't always do the "wait until your birthday to open all your presents" either, so she has gotten to open something every day. Since she was able to open what her Nonni and Pop brought her, this is the scene we had the rest of the weekend...

Yes, she got a new camera and she LOVES it!!! She was taking pictures of everything!!! She has had a camera before and loved that so much it broke :) We are going to be starting Lucy up with her very own blog soon, so we will keep you posted on that. We were really amazed and impressed by the creativity she has. Almost immediately she took still pictures of these two pumpkins we have and changed their positions to make a story and it was quite good!

While at Strawberry Hill Pumpkin Patch Lucy took pictures of the shadows of the flags on the ground and it was an awesome picture!! Most people wouldn't even notice the shadows, but she sure did and to think to take a picture of it was awesome!!!

In the above picture, Clara was a bit unsure about getting any closer to this pumpkin guy :)

Clara was ok with this one as long as Lucy was between her and the pumpkin dude :)

We had a wonderful weekend with Nonni and Pop here. The girls played lots of games and loved having them here to see them ride their bikes, play with neighborhood friends and snuggle with :)

I took Lucy back to Strawberry Hill for breakfast this morning and they came out and sang to her and gave her ice cream. She loved that!!! There was another woman in there that today was her birthday as well and Lucy got a big kick out of that!! We have karate tonight and one of the boys in there also has the same birthday.
