Fish Spa

Ok, I admit---I enjoyed this a bit too much :) I help out in Geography Through Art in co-op and we are learning about Japan. There is a type of painting they do (I can't remember what it is called----or how to pronounce it) where they paint on fish and then basically use that as a stamp. It is cool because it shows all the scales and it is really cool.

This is Jody, she teaches the class---and there is her beautiful fish :)

This just cracked me up--after the fish was painted we had to wash it off so the next person could paint it. There were several fish--but eventually they all had to take a bath :)

Like I said, I enjoyed this too much. I laughed so hard in this class. The kids really enjoyed it, and they did a great job!

As time went on the fish did began to thaw and this became a stinky project :)
