Boardwalk

We had to get up early to get going on Sat. The reason we got this trip was it was a promotion for Blue Green Vacation Clubs. It was a good deal, so we decided it was worth listening to the two hour spiel in the morning to have the rest of the weekend to ourselves (and it was ;)

Clara thought we were nuts getting up. She said something really funny here which is why I took the picture, but I can't remember what she said now :) Go figure :)

At the Blue Green place they had a kids room and the girls had a good time playing in there with the other kids. The resort was beautiful of course. We knew going into it we weren't going to buy into it---we have done these promotions before and had some idea of what it was all about. Now they offered a sampler that you can try it out for a year, with no obligation to buy in for good and if you do the money you pay goes towards it. We don't know that it would be worth it to buy into it, but the sampler was a deal that couldn't be beat actually. We can do some more vacations at some incredible resort locations and it comes out to be about $60 a night. It works great for us because we can use it during the week, off season thanks to homeschooling. Otherwise you use up a LOT more points to go on weekends. So, we are looking forward to some adventures :)

The girls felt the need to sit in every picture booth there was. Why, I don't know? So, I took their pictures. I sure wasn't going to pay to have the booth do it when I had a camera in my hand :)
There was a car show going on which was cool and thrilled Mike. It was too cold and rainy to check it all out, but we did get to see the PT Cruisers. The girls picked this one as their favorite because of Kermit :) These Cruisers were nothing like ours :) It was cool to see all the variations.
Our Southern Girls had a hard time handling the cold :) It did warm up some, but we found plenty of inside things to do :) I was trying to take their pictures at some of the same places I took them at years ago. We went here tagging along on one of Mike's business trips. The company put us up here on Broadway at the Beach and it worked out super well because I didn't have a car during the day and took the girls out every day to check this area out. Clara was in a stroller then, so it was cool to see them there now :)
