Yesterday I had to go to doctor for a swollen lymph node that wasn't going away. I also have an odd rash on my forehead and figured I would have them check that out as well. The girls of course had to come with me. Well, I was shocked when the doctor told me that I have Shingles (the rash) and the lymph node is swollen as a result of my body trying to fight off the Shingles. God is so super good to me though, and I have no pain or discomfort from this and from what I have read now this is usually VERY painful----so praise God!!!
Anyway, when Clara heard the doctor say Shingles she started singing Jingle Bells, but she doesn't say "jingle" she says "shingle". She felt certain that is what the doctor and I were talking about :) So, today she has been singing "Shingle Bells" all day long :) How cute!!
