Awesome Animals

Today we went on a field trip with other local homeschoolers to Hollywild Animal Park. We went over Christmas time for the lights and all and it was incredible---I had no idea though that they had SO many animals!! The girls and I had a great time and here is just a few of our favorite pictures of animals from the day...

I did not know that there is a difference between a turtle and a tortoise, which is super cool to know. That will be a good thing to add to our lapbook about today's trip :)

Capuchin. Hard to photograph because they were super active!

Oh my gosh, is this not the cutest thing!!! It is a baby donkey.

Orangutan. They told a funny story about her. She used to stay in the administration office often and would see the humans answering the phones. Well, they left her alone in the office one lunch time and came back to find her trying to answer the phones and make photo copies. They are very smart animals and love to mimic. How cute!
