Sad Farewells

All good things come to an end, and this trip too went by so quickly. Lucy and Clara really handled the farewells well and didn't get overly upset. They look forward to when we can make the trip up to Ohio :)

Clara sleeps in a bit longer than everyone else, so they were all dressed and ready to go when Clara was rolling out of bed. Poor Amanda was still swollen from her tooth problem. When her family was here Ryan got stung by a wasp, and then Amanda comes and has half her face swollen up---they won't forget our house too quickly :)

I love this picture!!

I told them to strike a silly pose :)

It was a wonderful visit and we really enjoyed having our Herring family here!!

There is one more post from this weekend, but I will let Mike do that one. He took his parents and sister to Lake Lure the first day they were here. I kept the girls and we spent the day at the pool, which we all really enjoyed. Mike got a great picture of his parents and sister on the boat tour and they saw some cool sights of fire fighting, but I will leave that one for Mike to post :)
