Slip Slidin' Away...

I do have permission to post these pictures of Cheryl. She is a good sport :) We had so much fun and laughed so hard and this is just a sample as to why. As stated before, it is slippy on those rocks in the river, so you have to be careful of your footing. Getting out of the water is really the hardest part since you can no longer swim and it is harder to scoot up.

Look at the concentration in her face as she tries to figure out how she is going to get onto the "shore". What I also love about these pictures is Mike and Clara in the back ground. That gives you some idea of length of time this all took too. Here you see Mike and Clara close by.

Ok, definitely being on all fours is a better approach. She hasn't actually moved very far and you can see that Mike and Clara are across now. Lucy is just hanging out in the middle there :)

Ok, now a lower level is the approach. On all fours was good, but now we have less distance to fall. She is definitely making some progress now. Mike and Clara are checking out something most fascinating over on the other side there :)

Now she is close enough to go back up a bit. She is feeling she can make it now, but still be cautious on all fours :) You can see Mike and Clara starting to come back now too.

Yeah!!! She made it!!! You go girl :) We sure do take sure footing for granted don't we? :) Now Mike and Clara are on their way back and have almost caught up to Cheryl.
