Random

I have pictures to download from Clara’s party, but as I was shutting some programs down I saw that I was so close to being caught up (until the next download…), so here goes—just some random shots…

Of course, as the Christmas boxes have been coming out they attract cats like magnets!!

You can nothing it seems that you don’t have an audience of at least one cat  :)  usually cats and kids…

We went to dinner one night when Lucy was at a sleep over (the crazy hair party from another post).  Clara really wanted Outback as Lucy had been raving about the Ahi Tuna we got there on her birthday.  So, Ahi it was  :)  It has been a LONG time since this has happened, but Clara actually fell asleep after dinner in the restaurant.  How sweet is that??!!!

I love the picture of Boaz with the sheep—just cracks me up!  It was just a few short months ago that he was no bigger than those sheep.  He is going to be a BIG cat—he is most certainly the biggest of the kittens—standing a good inch taller than Joey, but he’s taller than Fluffy now!!

Fluffy is still the most special cat in the world!!  He just is!!  He is still not thrilled with all the kittens that have invaded our home, but he is tolerant.  He does play with them from time to time (at least that is what I choose to call it since there is no blood shed and he could easily draw blood—although he dominates the play!!).  The kittens will provoke him though, and he pulls out and starts hissing when he gets ganged up by multiple—he much prefers one on one play!  I do love those moments though that there is complete harmony  :)  Fluffy was on his perch here and Esther came to join him.  Fluffy was fine with it for a good long while too.  {LOVE}

I’m hoping to get the other pics downloaded and maybe even done before Thanksgiving!!  I have all my shopping done for Christmas, other than maybe a few things here and there, but for the most part I’m done.  We have to brave the grocery store today for some things for Thanksgiving.  We will do that after piano.  Oh, speaking of piano—to hear REAL Christmas music coming from Lucy is AWESOME!!!!  We are LOVING it!!!  She is loving it too!!  So proud of her and you just can’t help but get in the spirit listening to that!!

I am decorated inside, however, we did not do a tree this year.  That would be crazy with cats and certainly couldn’t have breakables on it just in case.  The girls have decided though, that a tree is a must, so we will pull one up this week at some point and do that  :)  Also needed is the outside stuff.  No one will see it out here but us, but hey, it has to be done!

We have still been crazy getting ready for the craft fair.  The task of assigning spots is crazy!!  Trying to keep like items as far apart as possible, and accommodate those that requested to be next to so and so, or by the kitchen, or whatever…  Then doing the signs (we have all the fronts done, and one back---so 6 more backs and it’s a wrap!!).  We will put the signs out this weekend.  Every day I’m being contacted with someone wanting in, or someone needing out.  I do have just about everyone’s payment, and I ordered in a stroke of brilliance (LOL) my contribution for the raffle prize—a med size utility tote from Thirty One.  I was able to get it for $7 with a $35 order—that will work great to hold all the contributions and that alone is well worth the $2 charge for the raffle!!  I was so excited about that.

I went to Grace Place yesterday to get the brochures and they are so excited we are doing this to raise money for them.  I so pray this is great for them!!  Great for the vendors, and great for my friends church too!!  Praying for a real WIN-WIN-WIN!!  I will be so relieved when it is all done though I have to say—it has been a ton of work!!  I have it set up pretty good to be much easier next time around.  Even made a stencil for the sign so we can add to those every year.  Mike’s companies Christmas party is that night too!!  Shew, makes me want to take a nap just thinking about that day  LOL!
