There Will Be No More Kittens

Well, the time came for the kittens to be fixed!  The vet had originally told us that they will release the boys the same day but that Esther would stay one night there so they could check her incision, make sure she ate and drank, and would use the liter.  She did so great though that they allowed me to take her home that day!  She was lethargic of course—but what was most disconcerting (ok, and funny!) is that she would sleep with her eyes OPEN!!  It took me a little bit to figure it out—but she was sound asleep in these pictures!

The second set of lids is partially closed.  We would even push try to close, but they were not about to close!!

The boys were good to go!!  That is Boaz on my lap, like nothing happened at all!

Joey was sleeping with Esther—he too, like Boaz, was perfectly fine!
