Stubborn Tooth

Clara has had a baby tooth that has not cooperated!  It did not fall out when the adult tooth came in, it just moved forward and was a bit loose, but firmed up—so it was necessary to have the sucker pulled!

Here we are right before we put the tooth to sleep  :)

Lucy was so funny to watch while this was taking place.  I was standing next to Clara, Daddy was sitting (he got to go too which was a treat), and Lucy was on the floor and I watched her so as not to watch the shot or pulling process.  Lucy busied herself with playing with her hands and doing a lot of squirming on the floor.  Clara on the other hand was fine for the whole thing.  She never saw the needle and didn’t feel a thing.  She moaned a bit during the shoveling out of the tooth (that is what it looked like to me—he used a little tooth shovel), but she felt pressure, not pain.  Then pop—it was all done!  Excellent patient for sure!!

Here we are right afterwards, with the funny smile  :)
