Third Day Miracle Tour

A while back I went to a woman's conference and was blessed to win 2 Third Day tickets as a door prize!  I was so excited!!  Mike was planning on being my date for the night, but he had just gotten back from Sweden and was still exhausted and so he suggested Lucy go with me.  She was more than happy to obey!  LOL!!

We had great stalker seats—we could see everyone coming in.  A friend and her husband were way on the other side of the arena and I kept texting her things like “are you wearing pink” and “I can see you”  It was funny to watch them frantically trying to figure out where we were.  They eventually did of course  :)  It was so much fun going with Lucy—we had a great night!

This was all before the show, once it started I didn’t take pictures.  We got to see Josh Wilson (and was surprised to see we knew all his songs and yet I didn’t know his name), then was Colton Dixon.  Lucy was particularly excited to see him as we watched his season of American Idol and he was one of her favorites from the beginning.  He wasn’t even going to audition that season after being cut the year before, but he went to support his sister and the judges urged him to try out himself.  His sister got cut in Hollywood, but Colton went on to do great things.  His sister did get on stage to do some of one of his songs and that was very cool!

Then Third Day took the stage.  There was a contest where the winner got to have lunch with Third Day and the Duck Dynasty people.  Mrs. Kay cooked of course  :)  They were talking about that and then 4 of the duck men got on stage to jam with them for a song.  It was really cool!  We enjoyed that very much—as well as the whole concert!

While we were at the concert, Clara had a Daddy/daughter date.  She was thrilled to have Daddy all to herself, go to Orange Leaf, and they even bought a new (used) Wii game they got to play.  So everyone had a wonderful night!

Just a little funny note—in the picture above with me and Lucy, when I went to pull away after the picture my hair had gotten all tangled up in her bobby pins she had on that side.  It was quite the ordeal to get free.  LOL!
