I am not going to be able to put off any longer editing and going through all the LTC pics as this is the last of the pictures not from that.
We had gone into Pier One and Clara found this cool swing/chair she fell in love with. I haven’t been in a Pier One in years and although the stuff was nice, there is no way I would spend the kind of money they want for things! I was appalled walking through there! But it was fun watching Clara’s reaction to this chair :)
Lucy went to a spa birthday party a few weeks ago and the girls mom posted this picture. Looks like fun LOL!
In other news: Clara got her first wasp sting today. Her and her friend who spent the night got in the way too cold pool today, and the wasp (I was told that is what it was but I didn’t see it myself) was on the surface of the water. She tried to shew it away and it got her on her wrist. It is swelling up/welting. They are taking a bath right now and are over the pool for the time being (I think it was just too cold as well—my kids are ALL about swimming, but they HATE cold!!) I gave her an allergy pill and I suspect between that and the late night she is going to be ready to REST later on. I certainly know I will!! With 4 kids here sleeping in the living room it worked out very well! I couldn’t hear them upstairs at all which was great! I came down at 3 am for Tylenol as I had a headache and they were all OUT!! I woke up all sniffly and feeling a bit rough, so I am glad to have the day off somewhat and am looking forward to resting for a little while too.
Tomorrow after church there is an awards lunch for the LTC kids. We are excited about that. Mike is bummed that he can’t make it for that :( He is doing well in Sweden, but he is ready to come home. It’s been hard on him with the time change and not being able to talk to us. He did call yesterday, but it was just as the girls friends were pulling into the driveway so they were preoccupied. I had a good chat with him though, which was nice. We miss him very much and look forward to him being home and hearing all about his trip!
