Bible Bowl

The first night of LTC is the Bible Bowl.  This is just a small section in this very large room of all the kids positioned for the Bowl.  It takes a couple of hours and there are 100 questions—all from the book of Matthew this year.

Lucy did great and she really loved the Bible Bowl.  She loves trivia type things so I’m not surprised she enjoyed it so much.  Each child had a block with A, B, C, and D on it and they had to choose the right one.  One time Lucy knew the right answer buy had her block on the wrong letter—she was so mad at herself over that one.  Only 2 kids from all of WFR got individual gold (missing 10 or less).  Lucy was 2 away from gold!!  A great accomplishment especially for a first timer that didn’t know what to expect!  She was very pleased with herself, but is already gearing up for next years and that coveted gold!!

For the littles it was a bit much sitting in there.  Little by little we came out to the lobby.  After the Bible Bowl there was a donut social which woke all the kids up for sure—DONUTS!!!  Then we took Clara and retreated to our room for the night, and Lucy went with her friends and room chaperone.
