Back to School

We have had an extended break from school with moving (again!).  We were all excited to get back into our school routine though!  Even the kids said they really missed it!  Now with the school room done we were good to go.

Here is Clara doing her school in the window nook with both cats (you can hardly see Felix, but he’s there too  :)

The only things left to do in the school room are to floor the window seat, trim around the window and hang curtains (on the outside of the seat so you can close off the seat for another “room”).  We will make some more cushions for the bench too, which will be multi functional and can be moved to other rooms, stacked, etc.  Also Id like to run the carpet cleaner in here, but otherwise it is totally done and we are thrilled with it!  We did CC in here on Friday and it functions great for all of us in here too!  I’m so excited about all the great learning we will do here!

Speaking of learning—we have had our first snake.  It is hanging out underneath the hot tub.  Cute fella actually—a speckled King Snake—which is a wonderful addition to our yard since they eat rodents as well as poisonous snakes!!  He is welcome to stay as long as he wants!
