Christmas 2012

It was a bit of a different Christmas for us since Mike had to work in the morning.  He home early enough, but the rest of us got to sleep in  :)  No complaints from me!!  Because of the change Santa knew to wrap everything so the girls also got to sleep in their own beds since there was nothing to see before we were all up.

All week we were allowing the girls to open some of the gifts sent from their Ohio grandparents.  Above, they are sporting some of the goodies!  The first thing they got to open were their cowboy boots and they were a BIG HIT!!!  I thought for sure the girls were going to sleep in them they were so in love!  LOL!!

The stockings were fun to dive in to—as usual!  The girls got turbie twists, which Lucy is modeling.  Clara got a harmonica because she tried to bid on one during an auction earlier this year for $3800!!  This one was much cheaper, and she loves it!!  I had no idea it would be such a huge hit!!  It was really more of a joke, but she is quite good at playing it and we hear it ALL the time!!

Apparently Mike had the phone—I didn’t even know he was taking pictures  :)  What Lucy has there is a profession set of nail brushes.  If she can dream it up with nails, she has the tools to do it now!!

A KINDLE!!  This was a great gift this year!!  After Christmas we pooled all our money together and went and got a second Kindle too—so there is no fighting  :)  They do have to share with me too though  :)

Notice I have changed—I got wonderful new pjs!!  I had to put them on right away of course!

Santa ate all his cookies and left behind two candy canes!

Another great gift the girls got was a hammock!  It was a great Christmas!  Not just because we got great things—but because it is such a great time just to celebrate the birth of our Lord and celebrate our salvation!!  I can’t believe it has come and gone yet again!!
