You Say It’s Your Birthday….

‘The weekend of Clara’s birthday we swapped kids with another family—we took one and gave them one  :)  While N was here we made pizza and Mike had gotten a big delicious looking cake from the store.  I thought I would cop out and take the easy way and not make one for her myself, but buy one.  Mistake!!  This cake was NASTY!!!  It was almost ALL frosting and we don’t care for frosting!  Since the cake wasn’t fit for eating—what is it fit for—smooshing!!

N stayed nice and still and let me “paint” her face.  Of course I did have her a bit cornered, but she loved it (and she truly did too)!

Clara on the other hand was not too thrilled with the turn of events!  She had already taken a bath and didn’t think getting messy was a good idea.  Obviously I didn’t listen…  bwahahahah!!!

When you don’t stand still it is far messier  :)  She was a MESS!!!  She was talking loudly to herself as she does all the way into the shower and during her shower and she told the walls and floor and air about how horrible it was that I did that.  By the time she was done with her shower she was over it and saw the humor in the situation.  Now she laughs about it and it has become a “good memory”  haha!!
