We get together on Fridays with a couple of other families to do school together. It is so much fun and we are all enjoying it immensely! Over the past two weeks we have been learning about plant and animal cells. We always eat lunch together, so we thought it was a great idea to incorporate our lesson into our meal.
Here is a plant cell cookie. We decorated them with their parts—and all the parts were delicious!!
Having fun with plant cell parts :) By the way, this week we were at someone’s house who used to be a cheerleader and has a ton of cheer uniforms from back in the day and that is what the girls are wearing. We did a lot of learning “cheers” this day since they were dressed the part :)
Say cheese!
Clara is cooling her pizza with a hand held fan—what a goof!!
animal cell pizzas! Yummo!! A lot of the organelles the kids won’t eat on pizza, so before cooking them we stripped the parts and us moms put them on our pizzas and those kids were really missing out because it was delicious!
