Fluffy’s Frog

Fluffy got out this evening for all of about 5 minutes—but he managed to kill an animal!  I mean, this cat is FAST!!  This poor little frog didn’t stand a chance :(

Clara leapt with joy when I said we could dissect him (yes, it is a “him” we found out).  She is quick to get the stuff together to operate.

I do the initial cutting and we identify the organs and then I let her have at it. She is currently still playing with this frog—and it’s been about an hour now! She won’t craft for long, but she will meticulously take an animal apart piece by piece and get so excited about each part! She keeps calling me in so excited about her finds!  I love her enthusiasm!

Lucy is not nearly as in to it.  She hung in there with me as we went through the organs and she wasn’t squeamish for that part (as long as I did the cutting), but she has no desire to cut it.  Fluffy was just watching, as proud as he could be to give us such a wonderful gift!
