Cleveland, MS

We had the opportunity to go Memphis, TN to camp with Mike’s family a few weeks ago.  When plotting our course I saw we were going right through Cleveland, MS and I got excited since we have family there that we would love to see!!

It was a perfect stop off point and we enjoyed our visit very much (there and on the way back).  It was great to see, and visit with my great Aunt Lena and Aunt Francis!  It brought back so many memories from going there as a kid!

Aunt Lena showed us her new glasses and we all had to try them on to see how they worked!  Amazing the amount of magnification it takes for her to see—bless her heart!

We enjoyed them so much, and hope to make the trip to Cleveland more frequently!  My Aunt Lena is 92 years old and is amazing how well she does for herself without being able to hear much or see (you can see the glasses she needs!).  She made us pizza on our trip back through and to watch her cook it up and then cut it up and fling it onto plates was worth the trip!!

My Aunt Francis would not allow me to take a picture of her—but she too is inspirational with how well she gets along!

This was my Grandmothers house—it was tough to go by there!  I miss her so very much!
