A Night Out On The Town

Lucy was invited to go to a special presentation ballet by one of her friends.  She was so excited, she got to hang out with her friend, dress up fancy, see a really cool ballet, and stay out late---well, it just doesn’t get any better than that  :)

We bought this dress several years ago (and states ago  LOL---I actually think we got this in SC) at a consignment shop for something ridiculous like $2!  I had to go ahead and get it even though at the time it was way too big as I knew it wouldn’t be too long before it would fit the way these kids grow!  Well, the time has come and she was so excited to have an event to wear it to.  We also have a wedding to go to in a few weeks and she is planning on wearing it there and for Easter service---I would say we are surely getting out $2 out of it---and we will get to use it again for Clara in a few years  :)

This came out fuzzy---but Clara didn’t want to be left out of the pictures!!  Clara was disappointed at first to learn that she was not able to go to the ballet too, but then got excited because she always gets to choose the evening events when it is just her here---and as usual, she wanted to play the Wii---Sunny With A Chance of Meatballs!

Really Lucy---dress you up all fancy and beautiful and you hop on a skateboard!

Lucy had a wonderful time and was so excited to tell us all about it when she got home!
