Santa’s Three

We do not make a big deal about Santa.  The girls still believe (although Lucy has thought enough about it that I believe she knows, but is not willing to fully give it up yet).  The focus of Christmas has gotten so distorted and it truly saddens us all, so we focus on Jesus and Santa is there,  but not a focal point.  The girls noticed more this year than in years past and it absolutely disgusted Lucy and she got down right mad at one point when we were watching something (I think it was the tree lighting) and it was ALL about Santa!

Anyway, Santa brings 3 things and this year they were….

sitting on the hearth -- a USA puzzle and USA game (this counted as one  :)  Plus, the stockings are full and I am so thankful that Santa is very practical  :)

Yeah, a new Wii game!!  We have very much enjoyed this game and recommend it!  Kind of like Clue. It’s 4 player so we all play together to solve the who-done-its.

These were a BIG hit!!!  RAINBOOTS!!!  These were needed (again, so thankful Santa is practical)!  They have gotten LOTS of use already with all the rain we have gotten.  Our backyard floods and it is like a pool back there (I will post pics from that soon).  Lucy wears the same size shoe as me (can you believe it!!!) so I can use hers as well as I love them!!  :)
