Build A Bear

The girls have been wanting a Build-A-Bear.  Whenever we go the mall (which isn’t often, but enough to make an impact) the girls go in and pick out what they would get and imagine going through the process.  It is so expensive that we just can’t do it.  I mean, really they can grow up with happy child hood memories regardless, right?  LOL!  Well, my parents got them gift cards this year for Christmas which was a huge treat for them!

The girls got to go through the whole process of selecting the perfect critter, filling it up, placing the heart lovingly inside, selecting the perfect outfit (they were even able to get TWO perfect outfits each), and printing out a birth certificate!  It took FOREVER---but the selections are nothing short of perfect  :)

Apparently I stopped documenting the process at this point… Mike and I were very hands on with the picking of the outfits and holding the possibilities and such.  Mike took Lucy back to the mall to do some Christmas shopping and Lucy got Clara another shirt and some bows for her critter for Christmas and Clara was THRILLED!!!  So, now everywhere we go, Peace and Snow Flake go with us.  Also included with a Build-A-Bear is you get to be a “joiner” on the online community.  The girls have been there before, but we don’t pay to be “joiners” and it is very limited what you can do for free (of course).  So, they now have Peace and Snow Flake in their virtual worlds online and that was all they would do for a few days and has been a huge hit!
