This was the first time we have been able to participate in a Trunk Or Treat and it was a lot of fun! We brought Bella along and she hung out in the front seat while we set up. She’s just happy to go and do and be with her people---she’s just so darn cute!
Our theme was a pumpkin patch. I had to use a lot of what we had at home and decorated with for Lucy’s birthday. We played Pin the Face on the Pumpkin which proved to be a very popular game.
There were lots of great trunks there and I hardly got a picture of them all. Above is our Music Pastor and his theme was Roadkill Café. They had corndogs and hotdogs as well as a whole menu of “yummy” sounding items (or not!).
We did dress Bella up for the event after things really started going. We didn’t want her to feel left out—she is part of our patch. Doesn’t she look thrilled with the outfit?
Right next to us was the pastor and his wife and they had bobbing for apples. Above is Clara and a friend of hers that came along with us.
Lucy bobbed for apples as well (in fact I had her do it twice because I wanted an apple) and here she is soaked
Another fun trunk was Swamp People. Their little boy was dressed up as a gator.
A little girl was there painting faces which was another big hit for sure.
Sarah came with us and we had an extra pumpkin shirt which worked out great to bring her into our patch
Mike loved being a pumpkin---can’t you tell! What a goof!
Clara was excited about being a cheetah for Halloween (two days after this event) so she had her face painted like a cheetah---which really just looks like she is now a very sick pumpkin.
Bella is such a good sport!!
Loved them. There was 4 of them total all dressed up as different army men characters.
There was a costume contest and here the girls are explaining what they are wearing.
Bella got tired of being all dressed up, so we relieved her of the costume and she was happy to hang out in the front seat again.
Here I am helping a couple of kids pin their faces. We blindfolded the kids (at least the ones that would allow us to) and then they picked their pieces and with the help of some two sided tape (I love that stuff), they were able to make some very interesting pumpkins
