Our house in LA has a great back patio, which is great as we have been totally spoiled by the one we had in Alabama (and this one is even bigger :)
My project today while the girls were in VBS was to bring this vision of a softer, cabana feel to the patio. Please ignore that I still have things that need to be put away, but if I was to wait until I was 100% done it may not happen LOL.

Yes, they are a bit short and I would like them a bit longer, but the drop cloths came in 6' by 9' and I cut them in 3' sections so they only hang down 6'. I knew I could not bring them all the way down as Mouse (our outdoor cat) lives out there and he would pee on them if they were near the ground---that is NOT the feel we are going for out there----ode de cat pee :)

This view will change once the neighbor finished his fence. I can't wait---it will be so nice to just be looking at fence and not their cars! Not to mention how excited Bella will be when she can run free!!!

I love your Cabana style! No, I hadn't seen this one when I made my pennant banner. But, we are on the same page. I like that :)
