Honey Do List

Since Mike is gone during the weeks now, he comes home to a honey do list. I try to minimize it, but some things he is just much better at----for instance, my computer is not working!! Very frustrating. All my pictures are on that computer and I have wanted to post them, but I can't even check email on that thing! Also, we are still having some plumbing issues here and the tub is completely clogged. Mike snaked it, but it still won't drain. We will NOT miss the plumbing issues here, that is for sure :)

We do not like being away from Daddy, and have decided this week we will go to LA. I have to be here in the morning for the moving company to come and see what all they will have to move, but will leave after that.

Clara was sick (in fact I thought I may have to take her to Urgent Care of the ER on Friday---but her intense stomach pain subsided and has not returned). Bella has issues---she has scratched herself raw on her cheeks and back of the head. I had to get her into the vet Friday morning. Once we got there, Clara proceeded to vomit all over the waiting room floor (white tile, and her vomit was PINK due to the Pepto I gave her before leaving). Poor thing!! I managed to get it all cleaned up without puking myself :) Anyway, Bella is fine---the dr. believes it is her ears, which she has always had problems with. He cleaned them good, they shaved the raw spots (one was infected), and I have my medicine schedule for her. He said she is going after her ears which is why the raw spots are around the ears. I have to spray medicine in her ears once a day, and with the same spray squirt her boo boo's 3 times a day. She is also on steroids/antibiotics.

One thing we know without a doubt about Bella is she will never bite!! I could not get over how well behaved she was at the vet with all this scary stuff they were doing to her. It did take several of us to hold her down, but she didn't growl, nip, or do anything other than try to pull away. Personally, I would have bit :)

Yesterday, all Clara wanted was her Daddy to snuggle on the couch. Since it was raining, it was a great day for movies and snuggling :) Thankfully today Clara seems all back to normal. Mike has left for LA, but it wasn't too sad since weCheck Spelling know we will meet up with him tomorrow :) We are packed, car is loaded, and we are ready to go! We have a field trip on Tuesday in LA with the local homeschool group there which we are excited about. We will be visiting a school for the blind and will learn about braille, cane travel, and a day in the life of the blind. Should be very eye opening (no pun intended :)
