FREEDOM!!

In Essentials (4th-6th grade in CC), all year they have worked on writings from the Medieval period. For their final project they had to pick someone (or something) from that time period and write a paper on it and dress up as their topic and do a presentation in an "I am" format. At the end of their presentation everyone would guess who they were. This was open to the whole community and there were lots of people who stayed to watch the performances and the kids did great!

We were so proud of Lucy! She did a great job and really got into her person. She is William Wallace. That is a make shift kilt :) Lucy really enjoyed this assignment and even loved the presenting part. She was reluctant to yell out FREEDOM at the end, but she did it :)
