We're Still Here :)

I haven't posted in a while---but we're still here :) My camera has died. We have it taken apart somewhat and are trying to see what we can do with it as I will be lost without a camera---but now is not the time to buy a new one. So, we will end up getting the girls camera hooked up to this computer so I can use theirs and download their pictures too. I've been meaning to do that anyway, so this may be that push I need :)

I wanted to do a post on my journey to document it a bit more, but the camera has delayed that. I have now lost more weight then I have left to lose which I am thrilled about. I still have a long way to go, but man am I glad to be as far along as I am!!

Mike still has no idea what is going on with his job search. We are still waiting to hear something from Rolls Royce in Mt. Vernon, OH. He went for the on site interviews over a week ago now (they did say it could take up to two weeks to hear back from them). The waiting sucks though!! :) He actually had another phone interview with another department in the same facility who wants Mike to come for an on site interview, but when he found out Mike had just gotten back from there he said he would have to do some checking before arranging that. So, we wait.... Unfortunately, things are not going great at Alabama Aircraft which is not making it easier waiting. We know though, it will all come to pass in God's perfect timing!

We hit a bump in the road, as we had our taxes done yesterday evening. We get money back every year which is always a blessing----but not this year!!! We OWE!!! And no small amount either!! We were figuring that moving expenses would be covered by our refund (the main moving expenses would have to be paid by the company that hires Mike), but the other expenses such as first and last months rent, pet deposits, and all those unforeseen expenses that are bound to occur during a move. Well, that plan went out the window. We are truly going to have to rely on God in ways that we have been blessed enough to not have to before. There will be good lessons for sure----but we aren't jumping for joy at the prospect of walking this road! So, we are praying for wisdom and of course His provision to see us through this time.

We do have a contract on our house---for a short sale. We know that Bank of America has been out to do their appraisal to determine the lowest amount they will accept, but we haven't gotten word back on that yet. We know that Bank of America is known as being very difficult to work with in such cases----so we shall see what happens. A short sale would be nice as opposed to foreclosure----but honestly at this point we just want it over with!!! Especially after finding out that we threw our savings out the window trying to do what was "right" by paying our mortgage for as long as we could----and for what??!!! I so wish I could turn back time and stop paying on that much, much sooner!! Oh well, live and learn!

We are healthy and happy though and count our blessings every day!! The girls are doing great in school and we are all enjoying CC very much!! In a couple of weeks the girls will get to display their vast knowledge, along with their CC classes, for a "performance" night that will be fun!! I have really loved being a tutor too!! I have the best class and each child puts a huge smile on my face each week!! I can't believe there are only 5 weeks left!!!

So, that is us in a nutshell :) I hope to be posting pictures soon with a camera that works :)
Blessings,
Stacey
