The Goat Whisperer

Our favorite part of the zoo lights was the barn area. We spent a lot of time in there and Clara spent a long time pleading with the sheep. Above she was reasoning with the sheep trying to get it to come closer to be petted. She was telling the sheep how much she loves sheep, that they are her favorite animal, she has sheep in her room and about Little Sheepy. Unfortunately, the sheep didn't care!! They never did come any closer :)

All is right with the world though as Clara did get to pet one (it may have only been a butt pat, but she was happy :)

This goat absolutely loved Clara!! It came running to her no matter what side of the pen she was on. There was an instant connection and it was too funny. We started calling Clara the goat whisperer. One way we go walking Bella in our neighborhood takes us to a goat farm and since this night the goats come running to us when we come. That is until Bella gets so excited and scares them, but I take Bella away and the goats climb the fence to allow the girls to pet them :)

Here is Clara's goat---what a cutie!! We all fell in love with this one. It is one of the pygmy goats, so they are short, small and fat. Surprisingly soft to pet too.
