Santa's Three

Every year Santa brings 3 gifts and the girls never have any idea what they could be (we don't do letters to Santa as we have found that he always does very well on his own---often on things the girls would never think to ask for). After the stockings were limp once again, the girls came into the school room to find that Santa did in fact leave something in there....

A basketball hoop and ball (they count as one :) How much fun we will have with that in the driveway!! Not today though as it was freezing rain this morning and then has been snowing the rest of the day---but we know the fun is coming and there is plenty to occupy us with inside :)

Lap desks!! I love so much that Santa has a practical side. These will come in very handy for school, for computer work, drawing---you name it, I know they will get tons of use!!

And last but not least----roller skates! We have a wonderful basement here that is mostly unfinished (one finished room) and the girls have been using my old skates from when I was a kid to skate around down there. Not to mention all the homeschool days I see at local skate parks around here---so now the girls will be prepared. Unfortunately, Lucy's were way too small, but they fit Clara perfect. So we were able to find a place that sells this brand and of course they will honor an exchange for Santa---so we will get that corrected this week :)
