Baby Fever

We went visiting new babies this day :) One of the women Mike works with had a baby a month ago. Last Friday her husband had brain surgery too. I just can't even imagine going through all that!! We brought them a meal and a blanket gift that Lucy and I made for baby Thad. He slept the whole time we were there, but it worked well that we were able to pass him around :) Lucy was in Heaven!!!

We also went to Mike's boss's house as Beth just had her baby a couple of days ago. We brought them a meal and a gift we had made as well and again got to hold a (fresh) newborn!!! It was awesome! I love the baby smell and their little feet are just too darn cute! I wondered if it would make me long for another, but it did not (thankfully). With having surgery recently, I know I couldn't get pregnant for at least a year because you just can't eat enough to support a growing baby, and they don't want you pregnant when losing weight. Beyond that I am just too old :) We have known for a while that we were done, so this isn't new in our minds----it just came back up again seeing little babies :)
