Boogie Bottoms

We were driving around one day and happened upon a place called Boogie Bottoms. The sign really caught our eye as it said they have concerts, festivals and movies, so we drove in to take a look. It is VERY interesting!! It's more like Bubba's house----he has the drive in with the movie projecting off the side of a building and you park/sit in his field. This big building itself is a house of horrors. They sell concessions and I have no doubt that in a few months you will be able to buy some produce there as well too as they had a large garden area. We had to laugh, but truth is Bubba (that is what we call him, don't know that is his name) has quite the entrepreneurial spirit :) He has found a way to make money on all his acreage :)

Anyway, since driving out there we have looked forward to really going and our time came on 4/9. We went to see the movie How To Train Your Dragon and we had a great time!! We met some really nice people, the girls enjoyed the drive-in experience and as an extra bonus Bubba has lots of dogs there so the girls were in heaven getting to pet all these friendly dogs :) This one below was their favorite. We could have stayed for a second movie as well which is included in the price, but it wasn't a kid movie so we left after the first one. It was still super cheap for us to see just the one movie. I am sure we will be back to experience more of the Boogie Bottoms experiences :)
