We went to Roper Mountain Science Center (which was free with our McWane membership) and they had an Olympic demonstration day. It was fun to see how difficult the sports truly are and this was just a small taste of that. It will be fun to watch the Olympics now with the kids too and they will be able to relate a bit more.
Above, Lucy is learning to speed skate. Funny to watch the people slip and slide all over the place :) You can certainly see why speed skaters have tree trunk legs!!

The awards ceremony. If you got a sticker from all the events then you earned a gold medal. It was done really well and we all enjoyed it very much!!
