Mike hated leaving his fire! He worked so hard to get it perfect and the hot dogs cooked in no time at all. He said next time we have to bring a steak---if he is going to go through that much work he wants a steak at the end of it :) We looked for someone to pass the ready to go grill off to, but there were no takers----oh well...

There was a bee that wanted everything Clara was eating. It wouldn't leave her alone!! To keep herself from being afraid of it she named it Emily. Then the bee became her "pet". We ended up having to capture Emily so poor Clara could eat :) We got her in the container and released her once we were done eating and ready to leave. Clara wanted to bring her with us, but we convinced her that it was a better life for Emily to stay there with her family :)

It was a beautiful walk/hike around the Lake Placid. It was about 72 degrees today and it was just beautiful!! The trees are starting to turn color and you can smell autumn in the air. Love it!!
