Sky Top Orchard

We love fall---everything about it---the cooler weather, changing of the leaves, pumpkins, apple picking, orchards, hay rides, corn mazes---all of it!



Mike had the day off today so we decided to head out to Sky Top Orchard in Flat Rock, NC. It was awesome!! We all had a great time and now we have LOTS of apples to play with in different recipes I got online, and whatever is left over we will juice----yummy!!!

There were lots of cool places for the kids to play, and there were several other kids there too that the girls had fun with. Homeschoolers of course, since the rest of the kids around here were in school. We love to go places while kids are in school, so it is much less crowded and the kids that are there are generally homeschooled which is cool to get to know other homeschool families that way.

If someone is "worried" about the socialization of homeschooled children---they either are looking for an excuse not to homeschool, or have never met any homeschooling families/kids!
